Emu Farming in one side explains, it gives very good income and in another side the information shared by others gives there is a lot of problems - farmers are not able to sell their chicks, eggs, government is not giving much such support, NABARD has withdrawn its support and such other warnings are coming.
Certain Companies are coming forward with few schemes; the role of the farmer is just rear or grow the bird for one year and for that they pay reasonable amount for it. It seems good idea, the farmer can learn the how to rear the bird at their land. Once the Market is favourable, the farmers can do independently in future.
The Farmers already joined in such business agreement can explain their experiences.
